About HiPP Dutch Stage 1

HiPP Stage 1 infant formula is suitable from birth up until 6 months of age.
This formula is excellent as a complete source of food or as a supplement to breastmilk. HiPP uses probiotic lactic acid cultures cultivated from real breast milk to make a natural formulation that aids with your baby’s digestion.
Stage 1 is specifically formulated with a lower lactose content and is free of starch and maltodextrin which makes it gentle on tiny tummies and may help to alleviate issues like colic, constipation, bloating, and gas.
This formula is enriched with choline which is a vitamin-B-like nutrient and ARA derived from Mortierella Alpina oil to help support brain development in your little one.

Preparation

Wash your hands thoroughly and sterilize the feeding bottle, teat, and ring in boiling water for 10 minutes.2.
Boil fresh drinking water and cool to approx. 40°-50° C* / 104-122° F*.3.
Add the desired amount of boiled water (see Table) to bottle.4.
Measure recommended amount of formula powder (see Table). Level the formula on the measuring spoon and add the powder to the water.5.
Close the bottle and shake thoroughly.6.
Cool to drinking temperature of approx. 37° C / 98.6° F. Check temperature, e.g. with HiPP thermometer.In order not to damage the natural lactic acid cultures (lactobacilli), please do not prepare the food with too hot water.
Important: inappropriate preparation or use of this product can harm your child's health. Carefully follow the following instructions.
Use a carefully washed and sterilized bottle, teat, and ring. Remember to only use the scoop provided in the pack.
For hygiene reasons, always freshly prepare feeds and do not prepare in advance. Use prepared feedings immediately (within half an hour), and discard anything leftover at the end of the feed.
Do not heat feeds in a microwave, hot spots may occur which could cause scalding.
Do not re-use leftovers and check the expiration date on the side of the can. After opening the can, HiPP 1 BIO Combiotik milk powder can be stored for 3 weeks in a dry place at room temperature.
Important Notes
Breastfeeding is best for your baby. HiPP Dutch 1 Combiotik is a nutritionally complete infant milk formula made from organic cow's milk and can be used from 0-6 months. HiPP organic formula 1 Combiotik is suitable for bottle feeding in combination with breastfeeding, but also when breastfeeding is not taking place. Please check feeding information and talk to your clinic or pediatrician before the use of the infant formula milk.
Like mother's milk, all organic infant formula contains carbohydrates. They are an important part of your baby's diet. Frequent or prolonged teeth contact with carbohydrate-containing liquids can lead to tooth decay and thus to health problems.
