Kendamil Stage 1 infant formula is suitable from birth up until 6 months of age. This formula is excellent as a complete source of food or as a supplement to breastmilk.
Milk is made up of two main proteins: casein and whey. Kendamil's Stage 1 formula has a higher whey to casein ratio of 60/40, just like mature breast milk. This means that it provides fast-absorbing, digestible nutrients that promote healthy growth and development.
The formula is also enriched with all the fatty acids necessary during infant development including ALA, LA, ARA, and plant-based DHA, and immune-boosting vitamins like vitamin A, C, and D. By using whole cow's milk as a sole source of energy and avoiding complimentary carbohydrates like starch or maltodextrin, Kendamil ensures that their formula is gentle on tiny tummies and promotes smoother digestion.

Wash hands, then sterilise your feeding utensils according to manufacturer’s instructions.2.
Boil fresh water and let cool for 30 minutes before adding powder. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water. Measure the required water into a sterilised bottle.3.
Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of levelled scoops to the bottle. Use the straight edge inside the lid to level each scoop.4.
Place on a sterilised cap and shake well to dissolve powder. Remove cap and replace with a sterilised teat.5.
Cool to a natural body temperature. Always test the temperature of the liquid on your wrist prior to feeding your baby.For feeding your baby, add 1 level scoop of powder to each 30 ml (1 fl oz) of water (freshly boiled and cooled). Please refer to the feeding guide shown on the can and note this table should only be used as a guide. All babies are different and may require more or less than is shown. Kendamil First Infant Milk should be fed on demand. If you need more advice talk to your healthcare professional.
Use a carefully washed and sterilized bottle, teat, and ring. Only use the scoop provided in the pack.
For hygiene reasons, always freshly prepare feeds and do not prepare in advance. Use prepared feedings immediately (within half an hour), and discard anything leftover at the end of the feed.
Do not heat feeds in a microwave, hot spots may occur which could cause scalding, and do not re-use leftovers.
Check expiry date on the side of the can. After opening the can, Kendamil Stage 1 milk powder can be stored for 3 weeks in a dry place at room temperature.

Breastfeeding is best for your baby. Kendamil Stage 1 is a nutritionally complete infant milk formula made from organic cow's milk and can be used from 0-6 months. Kendamil Stage 1 is suitable for bottle feeding in combination with breastfeeding, but also when breastfeeding is not taking place.
